🚨 Important Fraud & Scam Warning — Read First
We have received reports of scammers contacting customers after their booking, pretending to be DoorstepsWash Jammu. Please protect yourself:
- DoorstepsWash Jammu will NEVER call you from an unknown or private number after your booking is confirmed.
- We will NEVER ask you for your OTP, password, UPI PIN, or any bank details over a call or message.
- We will NEVER ask for advance payment. Payment is only collected in person after service is done.
- We will NEVER ask you to share your screen, install any app, or click any link to "confirm" your booking.
- Our only official number is +91 94697 93349. Any other number claiming to be us is a SCAM.
- If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and report it to us on WhatsApp.
1. Who We Are
DoorstepsWash Jammu is a doorstep vehicle cleaning and detailing service operating in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), DoorstepsWash Jammu is the "Data Fiduciary" for the personal data you share with us when you book a service.

✅ No account, login, password or OTP is needed to use our website. Bookings are sent to us on WhatsApp.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only what is needed to complete your booking — nothing more.

We do NOT collect your email, passwords, payment card details, UPI PINs, bank details, Aadhaar or any other ID. All payments are made in person after the service. This website does not keep any customer accounts.
3. Why We Use Your Data
We use your data only for these purposes:
- To confirm, schedule and carry out your booking
- To contact you on WhatsApp or by call from our official number about your booking
- To handle complaints, feedback and service quality issues for that booking
- To meet any legal obligation, if applicable
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it for any other purpose without asking you first.
4. Your Consent
- Before you send a booking, we show this notice and ask you to tick a consent box. Nothing is sent unless you tick it.
- Consent is voluntary and is given for the purposes in Section 3 only.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by sending "Withdraw consent" on WhatsApp to +91 94697 93349. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. It does not affect what we lawfully did before you withdrew.
- If you do not want to share details online, you can simply call us to book.
- Our services are for adults. By ticking the box you confirm you are 18 or older.
5. How We Protect Your Data
- This website does not store your booking details. When you press the booking button, your details go straight into a WhatsApp message to us.
- The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Booking messages are kept on our business WhatsApp and are accessible only to the owner and staff who need them to carry out bookings.
- We reasonably safeguard this data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. If a personal data breach ever affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as required by law.
6. What We Will NEVER Ask You
🚫 DoorstepsWash Jammu will NEVER ask for:
- Any OTP — over call, SMS, or WhatsApp
- Your password or any login credentials
- Your UPI PIN, ATM PIN, or bank account details
- Advance payment before service is done
- Access to your phone or screen
- Installation of any remote app or software
- Payment to any number other than our official number
If anyone asks for any of the above claiming to be DoorstepsWash Jammu — hang up and report immediately on +91 94697 93349.
7. Third-Party Services
- WhatsApp (Meta) — your booking message is delivered through WhatsApp. WhatsApp handles it under its own terms and privacy policy, and may process data on servers outside India.
- Website hosting — to serve this website securely. It does not receive your booking details.
- Google Fonts — to display the website's fonts. Google can see your device's IP address when fonts load.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

9. Data Retention
- Booking details in our WhatsApp chats are kept only as long as needed to complete the service and handle any complaint — and deleted within 12 months after the service.
- If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
- This website itself stores no booking or customer data.
- Customer accounts on our website have been discontinued. Data held for any old account is being deleted. If you had an account and want your data erased right away, message us on WhatsApp.
10. Cookies & Device Storage
Our website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not keep your personal data on your device. Any old login information saved by earlier versions of the website is automatically removed when you open the site.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children (under 18). If you believe a child's data was shared with us, contact us and we will delete it.
